Department of Management Services
The Florida Department of Management Services conducts business with a suite of technological resources customized to help our workforce efficiently and seamlessly communicate, collaborate and manage business activities. Every program area within DMS generates its own source data set, services and processes to operate their part of the business. The agency’s Chief Information Officer strives for his team to learn and focus on these functions so they may most effectively:
- provide the agency with secure, innovative and cost-effective IT, software and hardware solutions;
- collaborate with each area to develop programs and systems to meet their needs;
- offer hands-on support and training to empower colleagues with the provided tools and resources.
There are three teams under the DMS Chief Information Officer: Application Development and Support, Technology Set Development and Support, and Desktop-LAN Support.
