Current Building Closures
Following the closure of county facilities by local emergency management offices, DMS is closing the following facilities for Monday, August 27, 2012, in anticipation of Tropical Storm Isaac:
Monroe Regional Service Center in Marathon; Ft. Myers Regional Service Center in Lee County; Opa Locka, FDLE Miami, and Rohde buildings in Miami-Dade County; North Broward Regional Service Center and Gore building in Broward County; and Trammel and Hargrett buildings in Hillsborough County.
Following the closure of county facilities by the local emergency management office, DMS is closing the James Building in Escambia County for Monday, August 27, 2012, and Tuesday, August 28, 2012, in anticipation of Tropical Storm Isaac.
State employees at these facilities are permitted to use administrative leave on Monday, if their employing agencies are not able to make arrangements for an alternative work location or telecommuting. All employees impacted by the closure should contact their supervisor for direction.
