Pricing Services
The Department of Management of Services Communication Information Technology Services (CITS) recovers its costs from the services it provides to its customers which consist of state agencies, local governments, universities, community colleges, and non-profit organizations. What is collected from CITS customers is used to pay CITS service providers, in addition to paying for any operational costs that support CITS services. Services are not funded by State General Revenue dollars.
CITS develops uniform rates for all customers, regardless of geographical location or customer size. CITS strives to add value to its services through its many support services while also ensuring that the services provided meet the needs of its customers and are the most cost effective available. Through competitive bidding and volume purchasing, CITS drives down the prices of its services.
