State of Florida networking infrastructure must provide sufficient functionality or robustness to meet the requirements for expanding networked applications and services. In order to fulfill these requirements, DMS Communications and Information Technology Services (CITS) developed a new service known as the MyFloridaNet, an MPLS capable IP network. The MyFloridaNet network platform provides a very flexible, highly available and secure communications infrastructure especially designed to satisfy the growing demands of our customers’ high availability, multimedia capable and security sensitive applications.
