Region 9 Involvement

DMS Telecommunications and Radio Services stays involved with the Florida Region 9 Committee to:

  • Advise Florida Region 9 Committee on issues related to 700 MHz and 800 MHz frequency bands and radio communications systems
  • Revise the Florida Region 9 Plan for Public Safety Radio Communications (pdf 639.79 kB)
  • Review Florida Region 9 applications for the Region 9 Committee
  • Represent State government agencies at the Florida Region 9 Committee for 700 MHz and 800 MHz frequency bands
