Executive Director Attends Key Meetings

Last week, Torey Alston, the Executive Director for the Office of Supplier Diversity, attended several key meetings. On Wednesday, Alston met with Kevin Walsh, Assistant Director of Minority and Women Business Enterprise Program (City of Orlando). During the meeting, both leaders discussed potential strategic partnership agreements, collaboration for future initiatives, and statewide certification reciprocity.
On Wednesday, Alston also met with Lonnie Bell, Orange County Business Development Office. During the meeting, both leaders discussed potential strategic partnership agreements, collaboration for future projects, and statewide certification reciprocity.
On Friday, Alston attended the Florida Minority Supplier Development Council Conference and Trade Fair. During the event, Office of Supplier Diversity staff conducted on-site reviews and certified several companies on the spot.
