Under the Department of Management Services, the Communications and Information Technology Services (CITS) program supports the communications and information technology arm of state government, providing Florida's citizens with the assurance that they will have access to a government that communicates more efficiently and that their state will be a safe and secure place to live.The responsibilities of the CITS are defined by statutes that establish a framework for the sharing of information technology resources and for improving communications interoperability and security.
