Sarah Hall

Sarah serves as the Inspector General for the Department of Management Services, which includes oversight of the Office of Inspector General (OIG). The OIG promotes effectiveness, efficiency and quality within DMS by providing independent reviews, assessments and investigations of programs, activities, and functions to assist the department in accomplishing its overall mission.

She previously served in the Offices of Inspector General at the Office of Early Learning, Florida Lottery, Florida Department of Transportation, as well as the Florida Department of Revenue. Outside of the OIG community, she was an Information Technology (IT) auditor for the Florida Auditor General where she performed IT general and application control audits of various state agencies’ information systems.  Additionally, she was a process consultant for Accenture and has more than four years of experience in all phases of the systems development lifecycle. Overall, she has more than 17 years of audit experience with an emphasis on IT audit in the areas of systems development, IT security, risk assessment, risk management, and IT governance.

Sarah received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Florida State University. She holds the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), the Certified Inspector General (CIG), the Certified Inspector General Auditor (CIGA), and the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designations. She is an active member of the Association of Inspectors General (AIG), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
