Visitor Parking
Visitor Parking
DMS designates certain surface lots and specific spaces for visitor parking at DMS-managed buildings throughout the state. These spaces are for public use when transacting business in DMS-managed buildings. State employees, vendors, etc. are not eligible to park in visitor spaces.
Disabled Visitor
Disabled state employees are encouraged to leave marked disabled visitor spaces at their office location available for disabled visitors.
CAPITOL CENTER VISITOR PARKING
Car Parking
There are many parking options for visitors throughout the Capitol Complex at DMS-managed garages, as well as Kleman Plaza.. This Capitol Complex Map (
243.52 KB) identifies visitor parking as “VP.”
Bus Parking
The bus access lane on Duval Street (west of Capitol) is strictly for the unloading of passengers and is not designed for permanent parking. After unloading passengers, drivers may park at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center, located at 505 West Pensacola Street. Please contact the Civic Center at (850) 487-1691 for additional parking information, including rates.
Patrolling of Capitol Area Lots
Please report parking violations to Parking Services at (850) 488-6683 or (850) 487-4986. Parking violations and/or tow-away matters are between the driver of the vehicle and the towing company identified by the signage at the entrance of each lot.
