INVITATION TO BID

The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified Contractors for the installation of variable frequency drives, a 2500 KVA transformer, duct banks and conduit, wiring, and other appurtenances at the Bay County Water Treatment Plant located at 3400 Transmitter Road, Panama City, FL 32404. This project consists of highly technical work with critical infrastructure providing power and control to various equipment at the Bay County Water Treatment Plant. The variable frequency drives, switchboard, additional electrical feed and transformer will be provided by the County and FP&L. HVAC equipment and installation is not included in this solicitation.

Funding for the project may be made possible through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is contingent on strict conformance to the guidelines set forth by Federal Procurement and Contract Standards. Respondents will comply with the Federal Regulations Contract Requirements.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 am (CDT) on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 in thePurchasing Conference Room, 840 W. 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, FL 32401. An optional site visit will be held immediately after the pre-bid meeting.

A voluntary site visit proceeds right after the pre-bid meeting.

ELECTRONIC OR SEALED PAPER BIDS for ITB NO: 24-41 Water Treatment Plant Electrical Resiliency Construction Project will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA up until 2:00 pm (CDT) Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Bids will be publicly opened immediately following the deadline. ANY BID RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
