Public Procurement Professional Development

The Division of State Purchasing’s public procurement professional development program is designed to provide procurement professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement sound procurement practices at their respective state agencies. Training and certification programs offered by the division include:

 

Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM)

FCCM certification is a statutory requirement for state employees responsible for contracts or grants with expenditures exceeding $100,000 annually. The course provides a foundation for the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage state contracts and grants.

 

Florida Certified Contract Negotiator (FCCN)

FCCN certification is a statutory requirement for at least one negotiation team member for contracts with expenditures exceeding $1 million annually. The course provides a foundation for the knowledge and skills required to conduct negotiations in accordance with Florida law.

 

Project Management Professional (PMP)

PMP certification is a statutory requirement for at least one negotiation team member for contracts with expenditures in excess of $10 million annually, as well as any information technology project meeting the criteria for oversight by the Agency for State Technology.
